The only problem with jobs in singapore is that they are so badly remunerated. The pay on that side of the world is not as good as it is here and that is such a pity. There are a only a certain few jobs in Singapore that are able to pay as well as the jobs here and that is because those jobs are very specialized positions. They do hire people for good money but these people all have very sought after degrees. They hire doctors, lawyers, engineers, chemists, physicists and those types of professionals so it is not easy to be placed. Recruitment agencies can only help you so much and these days it is more “who you know” and not what you know. I know that I will eventually find a job in Singapore, it is just very difficult. I will carry on looking until I get one.
